More Than a Race: Over $16,000 Raised for Charity

What People Are Saying
Participants had plenty to say about the Glenmaggie course, describing it as one of the toughest (and best!) challenges they’ve tackled.
The rolling hills nearly killed me, but crossing that finish line was next-level rewarding.”
True Grit always nails it, but this course in Glenmaggie was something else. The views, the atmosphere, the design—it was all spot on.”
Glenmaggie: A Stunning Backdrop for Grit
True Grit events are all about showcasing Australia’s natural beauty, and Glenmaggie didn’t disappoint. Between the rolling hills and open countryside, participants were treated to some incredible views (when they weren’t crawling through mud).
Event Director Tom Gilmartin summed it up:
We made sure this course had everything—climbs, height obstacles, water challenges, and, of course, mud! Hearing the feedback and seeing people push their limits made all the effort worth it.”
Huge Thanks to Our Partners
True Grit wouldn’t be possible without the support of some amazing partners and locals who helped bring it all together:
- Staminade, UNDO THIS Mess, GAGE Roads, The Middle of Everywhere, Wellington Shire Council
- Local legends like Glenmaggie CFA, Big Bins Skip Hire, and Gippsland Party Hire
Mayor Rossetti of Wellington Shire reflected:
Glenmaggie came alive with competitors from across Australia. It was incredible to see this little gem in Wellington Shire shine, and we can’t wait to see it become a regular event.”
